This event was held on closed roads by the Northland Car Club. Our drivers Troy and Sean both attended,  but unfortunately Richard was unable to make it.

The weather was again fine,  in fact it was so warm the tar on the road started to melt.  The event was well organised with each competitor getting several runs across the course of the day despite the excellent competitor turn out.  Unfortunately we still hadn't made any modifications to our vehicle at this point,  so we were still leaving it running most of the time and crash starting it whenever we turned it off.  We were also still dealing with the unstable nature of the vehicle on worn shock absorbers.

While Sean still proved to be the teams fastest driver Troy's times were not too far off ,  providing good competition within the team for both drivers.  Again the event was completed without any damage to the vehicle,  and without anything needing to be replaced or repaired due to stress.  The times for our drivers were around the 2:10 (two minutes 10 seconds) mark for each run,  which compared reasonably favourably in the 1600cc class we were competing in.

Our team once again enjoyed themselves immensely,  rating this event almost as good as the Bent Sprint at Taupo earlier in the year.
