Possum Bourne Condition More Serious Than Thought

Possum Bourne's life support was decreased ealier this week which lead to doctors discovering his condition was more serious than first thought.  A brain scan has confirmed Possum has suffered an severe head injury.  Possums team manager says that his chances of pulling through are virtually nil.

A statement issued by Possums family says the full life support is no longer in his best interests.  Life support for Possum will be decreased gradually but no one knows how long the rally hero will be able to hold on.

The other driver involved in the accident was released from hospital last week after surgery to his leg.
